Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is designed to relieve short and long term soft tissue injuries where there is pain or loss of movement.

The initial treatment includes an assessment of the injury to determine the muscle groups which need specific work. Once the muscle group is identified a treatment plan outlining the techniques to be used is developed and rehabilitation exercises are provided.

Oils for reducing inflammation are combined with the most effective techniques for the injury including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and transverse friction.

Deep Tissue Massage

During this massage we will work deep into the muscles relieving tightness. Therapeutic oil blends are used to encourage the muscles to release tension leaving you feeling lighter and more energised.

Sports Massage

Prepare for your major sporting events with an energising massage that uses warm therapeutic oils to revitalise tired muscles and minimise the risk of injury.  Importantly, stretches are incorporated to further enhance the massage allowing you to maximise your performance. Don’t forget the recovery massage to restore your wellbeing and release the build up of lactic acid.

Relaxation

Relaxation massage restores your sense of wellbeing and reduces tension by using gentle nurturing and flowing strokes in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart to stimulate your skin and nervous system leaving you feeling as if you are floating.

Pregnancy Massage

The My Time pregnancy massage is ideal for alleviating such discomforts as Sciatica, fatigue, back pain and swelling. It will leave you feeling an increased scense of wellbeing.

During your treatment, pregnancy friendly oils specific to each trimester are used to enhance your relaxation, and improve skin and sleep quality.

Health Funds:

My Time therapists are professionally qualified and have registration with most Health Funds, including Medibank Private, Australian Unity, HBA and MBF. 

Payment Options:

Hicaps, Cash, Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard.

Cancellation:

Kindly give 24 hours notice for any alterations to appointment times.  This allows other clients the opportunity to book the appointment.

If there is a last minute cancellation, My Time may charge a cancellation fee of $40.
